But don't bother eating at the hotel, unless you enjoy "hard steel fish" and "minced meat balls" that could pass for art in a chemistry lab.

Stayed in a basic hotel with virtually no competition. Had a good night's sleep in a comfy bed, enjoyed free soup in the lobby, and had a decent breakfast. The staff was pleasant.

Didn't have a kettle in the room, and no view of the beautiful scenery. Such a shame.

The hotel's decoration was cozy and welcoming, with comfortable seating areas and a homely atmosphere. It was easy to navigate around the hotel, with clear signage and accessible facilities for senior people.

I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there, especially with carrying my luggage.

The only thing we wished for was a livelier nightlife scene for us young party-goers. It would have been awesome to have some more options for dancing and having fun with friends after our thrilling days of adventure.

Convenient location in town centre, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Breakfast included and evening buffet a pleasant surprise. Access to nearby gym for those wanting to exercise. a relaxed atmosphere and good value for money.

The room was basic, the breakfast was mediocre.

We had a pleasant stay at Hotell in Bardufoss. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Parking was free, which was convenient for us. The internet speed has improved since our last visit, and we were able to make use of the gym pass at the fitness center across the street. The hotel's location in the small town center was great, as it was within walking distance to local shops and places to eat. We enjoyed the good breakfast and were pleasantly surprised that the evening buffet was included in the price. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we also liked the discount deal with the neighboring gym for a quick workout.

The standard single rooms at Bardufoss Hotell are cozy and perfect for solo travelers like us. The rooms have all the necessary facilities, although they are on the smaller side. But trust me, you won't mind because they have this charming vibe that instantly makes you feel at home.

Personally, I found the size of the standard single room to be a bit small for my liking. However, everyone has different preferences, and some may still find it comfortable.

Additionally, the hotel's central location in the heart of Bardufoss made it very accessible for us seniors, with shops and supermarkets just a short stroll away.

The only thing I would have asked for to make it an even better vacation for senior people is a more soundproof room. The thin doors let in some noise from the hallway, which can be a bit disruptive at times.

I recently stayed at a hotel near a grocery store and food options, making it convenient for my daily needs. The self check-in process was cool and the rooms, although small, were satisfactory. The bar on the ground floor was a must-visit, so make sure to reserve your seats beforehand. The hotel also provided free parking, which was a nice perk.

First and foremost, there is a fantastic gym conveniently located just across the road from the Hotell. Not only does the gym offer state-of-the-art fitness equipment, but they even have their own smoothie bar and a wide selection of gym clothes available for purchase. It was such a convenient and enjoyable experience to be able to maintain my fitness routine and treat myself to a refreshing smoothie without having to travel far. , one of the highlights of my stay was being able to witness the mesmerizing midnight sun. From the 23rd of May to the 19th of July, guests are treated to the breathtaking sight of the sun lingering in the sky all night long. It truly made my stay at Bardufoss Hotell unique and unforgettable.

There was only one minor issue that arose during my stay at Bardufoss Hotell.

The wooden floors gave it a warm and natural feel, and having a private bathroom was definitely a plus. I felt comfortable and at home in my little haven.

While the room was perfect for me, the size could be a bit small for someone who wants more space. But hey, it's subjective, and others might still find it cozy and charming.

It made navigating the hotel hassle-free.

It would have been even better if the staff were more knowledgeable about local attractions suitable for senior visitors.

We had the opportunity to learn about the history of the first families in Bardufoss, who settled here in the late 17th century. It was fascinating to see the traditional buildings and experience the rural lifestyle. We also loved the breathtaking display of the northern lights, an incredible natural phenomenon that left us in awe.

My children wanted more activities specifically designed for families.
